His first book, \u2018The Danish girl\u2019, published in spain by Anagrama, is inspired in the life of Einar Wegener, the first man to undergo a sex change operation. I also wondered why someone so important in history \u2014 a true pioneer \u2014 wasn\u2019t more widely known. Her life is a journey toward her true identity. Her life is also a story of art and how art and the act of creating allow us to become ourselves. De alguna forma no es diferente de lo que un lector piensa cuando est\u00e1 decidiendo que es lo siguiente que va a leer. Los publicadores est\u00e1n buscando buenas y originales historias; personajes convincentes; lenguaje y estilo vivo; y autores con una nueva manera de ver e interpretar el mundo. In some ways it\u2019s no different from what a reader thinks about when he or she is deciding what to read next. Publishers are looking for good, original stories; compelling characters; vivid language and style; and authors with a fresh way of seeing and interpreting the world.
